How many times do I have to report a false positive...

…before Avast stops deleting it?

This would be the GameVance UNINSTALLER. This REMOVES GameVance. It is NOT GameVance. I keep it on a flash drive along with the rest of my Windows cleanup utilities so that when I’m working on a PC that someone has made the mistake of installing GameVance onto, I can easily get rid of it.

I’ve submitted it multiple times over a long period of time as a false positive yet Avast will not correct their database to discern the UNINSTALLER from the actual malware.

Due to the variable nature of drive letters for removable drives, Avast’s path based exclusions (that are mis-named Global) consistently fail to work to stop it from deleting this NON-MALWARE program, along with many other utilities and other harmless programs they for some reason will not update the database to always exclude.

Ofcourse it is detected because even their uninstaller is malware.
