I am aware of the fact that website reputation scanners and services should function as nothing more than guidelines.
Like DrWeb’s url checker, Bitdefender’s TrafficLight, WOT, webutation,
but these services should be reliable and the integrity thereof guaranteed.
So is this service (now owned by McAfee) part of a PHISH-ing attempt as Bitdefender’s TrafficLight flags it that way: https://wXw.trustedsource.org/
alerts/phish/page_blocked.html?url=https://www.trustedsource.org/
See: https://www.sslcertificaten.nl/SSLCheck/www.trustedsource.org
and http://www.networking4all.com/nl/helpdesk/tools/site+check/report/?fqdn=www.trustedsource.org&protocol=https
Another factor to consider, my dear friends, is this:
A website with a domain expiration time of less than 1 year is considered to be less reliable. The time can be extended by the website owner in the future, and it doesn’t mean that the website will vanish after 1 year. Still, the value indicates how serious the website owners are with regard to their website, and you should use caution with websites which have domain expiration period of less than 1 year.
