Well, hearing this is really interesting. We do have the option to cancel the auto renewal from the My Avast account, but you are right in mentioning that if there is no auto renewal, there is no button and thus no confirmation that it is disabled.
If the auto renewal is active, you can see the button “Cancel Auto-Renewal” as in the screenshot at https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB126#artTitle (Alternative Method), but once it gets disabled you cannot get a confirmation anymore.
I will see what we can do to make it clearer, and to have confirmation that auto-renewal is not active if that’s the case
