How to access Chest?

Hi, I am using Avast 4 Home in “no-skin” mode and cannot seem to be able to find a way to access the Chest. How do I do this?

Also, I can’t seem to find a way to schedule a boot time scan in “no-skin” mode?

I believe you use right click for a menu with chest in it.

Thanks for your reply. The shortcut to the chest works fine, but the trick to enable Boot time scans with the “Settings” in the simple user interface does not work because… there is no settings in my Avast simple interface. I only see Tools and Help.

Do you have another suggestion?

Are you using xp or win2000? If you are, then there has to be a way. I’ll keep looking. ;D

Your interface looks like this without the settings button? And you are opening the simple interface by right clicking the “a” icon and clicking on start avast! antivirus?

Hey! oldman,

I am sooooo stupid! When you click on “Start scan”, the “Settings” menu disappears… Therefore, I could not see it because I was scanning!
