How to allow Chrome Ext

Guys,
I’m a newbie to Avast and have a minor issue, but, an annoyance, none-the-less.
I use Chrome as my primary browser and have a few extensions installed.
After installing avast free, I noticed that one of the extensions(Ghostery) keeps presenting an error as follows:

Warning:
This extension failed to redirect a network request to data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAEAAAABCAYAAAAfFcSJAAAACklEQVR4nGMAAQAABQABDQottAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg== because another extension (avast! Online Security) redirected it to data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAEAAAABCAYAAAAfFcSJAAAAFElEQVR4XgXAAQ0AAABAMP1L30IDCPwC/o5WcS4AAAAASUVORK5CYII=.

I have found many posts, and online articles detailing how to allow specific programs, which is pretty straight forward, but, nothing usable about specific extensions.

Is there an easy way to enable this functionality, or is there another way to handle?

Thank you for any assistance.

This Ghostery thing is rather redundant with the new Avast addon’s tracking protection enabled, I just uninstalled it. Otherwise, I’d suggest to report to the extension author as well.
