I send, at least once a week, a mailing to a list of about 2000 known people, using a real software :Sarbacane. It works by merging a database (Access, Excel, etc…) and an Html model, sending mail one by one, for each address.
The problem is that Avast locks the process after about ten mails !
Which parameter do I have to modify to let the mail secured, but also the software to send the mail ?

There’s no way to whilelist a particular program.
You can customize the heuristics in the e-mail provider (Internet Mail, or Outlook/Exchange, depending on what e-mail client you use). Either set a lower sensitivity of the heuristics, or set it to “Custom” and uncheck the “Mass messages” check (or maybe “Time period check”, I’m not sure how exactly the program sends those messages).

I’ve found the option in the “Electronic mail” part of Avast. I customized it, unchecking both “Time period check” ans “Mass messages”. And it works !
