How to avoid False Positives seen by customers who download Software?

What would be the proper way to avoid False Positives when a visitor/customer wants to download my software from Meshingwithgears.com website?

My software packages 2 exe files and other files in NSIS open-source installer, which is an .EXE file. Scanning the installer says “no threat found” but downloading will not pass the Avast! sniff test - it tells the visitor that my site is tainted, doesn’t it?

Is there a certification, etc. that Avast recognizes that avoids false positives? I’ve tried a download site (Media Fire) that suffers the same rejection…

There is no way to avoid (possible) false positives.
Just report them through the contact form on the website.

that would be here https://support.avast.com/

also check your file(s) at one of these places www.virustotal.com / www.metascan-online.com

That website has issues…
