Hi,
I am a developer and everytime I compile my project, which means generate a new Project1.exe file, Avast runs a detection screen saying “suspicious file detected”, which becomes “good news, this file seems safe” after a few seconds.
How can I avoid this detection please ?
I tried to add this file in Parameters/Exceptions menu with no success, the file is still under detection.
Thanks for any help !
Hello zorino, welcome to the community.
It looks like CyberCapture, but it should be excluded when you add entries into exclusions.
Can you post a screenshot of your exclusions?
Also, you can use wildcards on exclusion lists, so you can exclude like
C:\(path to your project directory)\*.exe
It looks like OK, but I remember CyberCapture sometimes recognizes a bit different path for their detection, like short path or symbolic/junction paths. Next time you got a detection notification, try to capture that screenshot while “More details” open, that may shed light for your issue.
Shame on me, I forgot a complete directory in the path !
Anyway, thanks for your help !
