I had Avast Free Antivirus.
I clicked on…Try Premium…and got Avast Premier.
I note ‘Ongoing Protection Service’ is ‘Enabled’
Can someone please tell me how to cancel the “Ongoing Protection Service”, so I can chose to continue or not.

Why do you install a av and then ask how to stop it from functioning ?
If you don’t want real time protection, don’t install a av but use a on-demand scanner.

I asked how to cancel ‘Ongoing Protection Service’
From what i read, ‘Ongoing Protection Service’ allows Avast to take money automatically to renew your subscription.
This is what i want to cancel.

Thought you meant the real-time protection.
What you mean is the is the auto-renewal.
How to disable it has been explained many times already.
