How to change email address

I do not have Avast! anti-virus so please be specific in your instructions :slight_smile: …

My friend just installed Avast! free edition and when they where prompted to enter their email address they typed it wrong by mistake ::slight_smile: Now they can’t get into their email program and don’t know where to go to make the correction :-[

Can anyone help or point me to some documentation so I can walk them through fixing it? Thanks

avast only requires an email while registering. Just register again with the correct email in this case.
avast does not block emails, it’s not a firewall.
You (or your friend) will need to be more specific, maybe posting a screenshot of the error.
Which is the operational system and email program?
