they don’t recommend any of those programmes. just ones that are supported. It’s an open platform, portable across different o.s. and all that is on the page I linked to are programmes that will work with a windows system. It’s for users to make an informed choice as to which they use after reading all the details.

They don’t have a reputation to build, it’s open source, dynamic and changing by input from it’s users to improve. There isn’t any comparison to Microsoft as far as I can see who refuse to open their operating system to improvements by us …their users.
