How to convert a licence key for Avast 7 into an Avast licence file for avast 6

Hi,
Just bought Avast 7 Pro and i got from Cleverbridge a key ; how do I convert this key into an activation file for Avast 6 or how can I activate Avast 6 using this key.

For the time being Avast 6 is activated as free, till august 2013.

and why would you use avast 6 ?

Fits better to my needs and the free version is working perfectly on my PC with the firewall I have.

so you say you are using avast 6 FREE… what do you need the license fore then?

I wanted to be suportive to Avast and I bought a licence for pro

so…i dont understand your problem…what is it you want to do with that license?
avast free…is free, you just register it…you dont need a license

Ok,

Let’s start over again;

On the free version it says"If you purchased an upgrade to Avast pro! please insert the license file…"

What I got from Cleverbridge is a licence key not a licence file

Question:

How do I convert a licence key for Avast 7 Pro into a licence file for Avast 6 Pro?
