I have a 3 PC license for AIS 5.0, just purchased and installed on 1/18. On 2 machines (XP Pro x86 and Win7 Ultimate x64) I am getting some errors from time to time, and the resident protections stop. Usually, going to the panel and clicking FIX NOW resolves the problems, but I’m concerned about a virus protection program that frequently stops working for what seems to be numerous different reasons.
I have used the Avast uninstall utility to uninstall on these machines, and reinstalled from scratch, but the problems persist (usually at least once a day per machine).
How can I track/capture what is causing the problem(s), and how do I report the problems to Avast and get Avast to take interest in the problem?
