How to disable the Avast 4.7Prof. program license update warning

Hello,

Is there a way to disable the annoying warning that my license is going to end? My license is going to end, and I really know that it will stop 5th of may, but I do not want to see this message every time I start!!!

Renewal would obviously end the reminders for the next two days, assuming you intend to renew.

I don’t think that there is any penalty of renewing prior to the expiry date, but perhaps someone from the Alwil team can confirm this. If you got the pro license via the Share*it payment processing then renewing through them shouldn’t have any penalty and there may also be a renewal discount, which may not be available after expiry. You could also check this out at sales @ avast.com (without the spaces)

Does avast keep telling me to update also after 5th of may?
Ive bought a VPS license for now > 2007, so this problem only affects the program update.

iAVS Subscription contains of course also updates of program, not only updates of VPS database.

Is your license key properly inserted into the program?

Sorry to make it more clear: can I still use the program if I do NOT buy a new license? Does avast keep asking me for a new license anyway after my current license time is over? It is reminding me like: 4 days until license is over… 3 days… 2 … 1…

Ive bought a VPS license for now > 2007, so this problem only affects the program update.

If you have just now purchased a license until 2007 then you should have received an email with your registration key in it, you need to enter that to replace your existing key. So it shouldn’t be effecting the program if you have entered the new registration key.

Check out this link, avast! Video Tutorial - Insert Registration Key. Although this is an example for the home version the principal is the same.

You can still use the program (not sure if the pro elements would be disabled though) if you don’t buy a license BUT you WON’T be able to keep the iAVS (virus signatures) up to date and that really isn’t good.

I'm somewhat confused in my first quote you say you have bough a license until 2007, but in this quote you saying if you don't buy a license.

So have you just purchased a license ?
if so it covers the iAVS (virus signature) updates and the program too, all you need do to stop the reminders is to enter the new registration key.
