Ok, I’ve got Avast, and I love it, best virus program ever, but the thing is, with programs like aim and such, I’m having problems setting them up so it automatically scans the incoming files…
Aim-I get ‘Command Line Permimeter’, and I have no idea how to program it, when I just upload the virus program, I get ‘Testing memory’, with Avast, then nothing happens…
Others-I see ‘Execute Permimeter, Extension of files scanned’, and I don’t know what to do, please someone help me…
Assuming that you installed avast! in the default folder, this is the path needed to scan downloads, C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe avast doesn’t require a parameter/switch, unless your program does.
Yes, I meant my program does, AIM AOL IM, requires a command line permimeter, I think what you provided was fine, and my other program requires an execute permimeter, and the extension of the files that will be scanned…
Sorry I can’t help with any switch (parameter) required by AOL AIM, just try a test download (small) and see if it will work without it.
