I have been reading in Google that everyone can’t get Comodo Firewall to play nicely with Avast7? I have tried, and for me it was really slow and start crashing Windows Explorer. I’m also not sure what other signs I would be looking for that would cause problems. I do admit I am a torrent user. Would there ever be a fix for everything? Or would everyone suggest and recommend for me to use a different free Firewall that would play nicely with Avast7, and torrents as well? If another Firewall would be the suggestion, then what free firewall would everyone recommend?
There are several FWs used by many members here. Comodo is known for issues with Avast.

Private FW
I can recomend these because I have personally tested all 3 with Avast, 8)
When removing any security software program it is recommended you Make sure you use the “vender” removal tool so no remnants of one are left on your OS.
Remnants from one security program can (and usually does) cause issues with another being installed.
