how to get free avast?

I was just woundering if you could get avast free my sister told me that you could and i was just wounder how i do it because i have some viriuses
Please Help ME :cry:

When you register for the free version, a licence key is sent to you email address which is valid for 14 months. Once the 14 months is up, just re-register for another 14 months.

avast! Home is only availble for non-commercial home use.
