Good Luck…I submitted a ticket 5 & 6 Oct for a refund. When I called digital river who sold the software & collected the fee they said I had to call Avast. Called Avast who said I had to contact billing, who couldn’t find the ticket #'s even though I have a confirmation email and told me I had to call tech support who couldn’t find the ticket # and said they really don’t handle refunds. They provided a link to check on ticket status however that link is to submit another ticket which everyone says if you do submit another ticket it starts the entire refund process all over again. There has to be a better way for Avast to track and make this whole refund process smoother.
Its almost as if they make it difficult to cancel & refund the customer.
