How to get rid of annoying "continue" splash screen after update?

After updating to 2014, I now get a splash screen on boot saying “Complete your upgrade to avast 2014…” .I’ve clicked “continue” (after unchecking the spammy dropbox install checkbox) - but it reappears every time.

try a new clean install…

remove with this http://www.avast.com/en-eu/uninstall-utility
download and reinstall https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=151290.0

Thanks. It actually went away after a few days.
Still not getting notified of responses here by the way…

Thanks, Bob. That was not checked but I was checking the box under “options” for each post.

I guess you’ll now find out if checking that option made the difference. :slight_smile:
