How to get rid of Avast WebBrowser Plug in?? iMac

Somehow, I installed a web browser plug in on my new iMac. . I’m not sure how–maybe I thought I was confirming that I wanted Avast Virus protection to stay active??

(OK–take it easy on this old, not very tech savvy lady!)

I am running the free Avast virus protection and want to keep that. I do want to GET RID OF the web browser plug in, and can’t seem to figure out how to un install it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated…

The plugins can be removed from your browser like any other browser plugin.
(The exact steps depend on your browser)
