It is normal to start by reading the FAQs and/or asking for help here on the forum, ,a very large number of problems are solved by these ways.
Only then, you will be directed to the link, when the basic checks have not given apropriate results
It is necessary to filter a little, the avast support is not there to give you the weather
In any case, I think you haven’t tested it, otherwise I think that according to your question, you would be disappointed with the answer and the delay of this answer

yes and an other difference:
when you contact the support in a European language (French by example), you get an answer in this language, which is not negligible when you do not speak English at all.

After investigating , I think Bob’s basically right for “free version”
Although the form is there, “Technical support for a free Avast product” does not allow individual contact with avast , just like piet118 said

you get to the FAqs pages, but a-at least i- dont get to the webform anymore, so no change of getting help for problems that are not in the Faqs. The link used to bring you to the WEBFORM, what is a hidden way of sending an email. that way is cut of now. people searching for solutions to their problems are not told to get to the forum and are only left with an expensive phone number. BAd service!! >:( . By european law customer service needs to be easy reachable and it is NOT. so Avast is hiding itscustomer services illegally. you jide this fact by massive answering to my posting with inacurate info. that is also bad why? arre you ashamed for your bad and illegal service-hiding?. so ill start it a new in a new topic. i think its a thing to discus. so please dont fill it with spam this time
