Multi AV Scan works but it’s a little buggy. You have to put the file that you want to scan in the same folder as MultiScan.exe or else the program will say Scanning the whole time without progress.:o
I’m currently using Multi Anti Virus Programs on my Windows 7 system:
Avast! 5 and Microsoft Security Essentials
This arrangement is neither sluggish nor cumbersome and isn’t slowing down my system.
Since avast! 5 is still in beta and at present doesn’t update the virus database, I need a second resident program
to keep this system safe.
Why don’t you just use www.virustotal.com for on-demand scannings of single files and on-line scanners for all the computer.
Some antivirus could be installed only on-demand (like Avira).
