I’m running the latest version of Avast free. After a scan, on the scan results screen, I’ve noticed items listed ac “unable to scan: T…” Why can it not scan these files and what does the “T” stand for? Thanks for your help. Peace!
You can expand that column to see what is being said.
This looks like the start of “unable to scan: The archive is password protected”
or something to that effect.
This is not actually a bad thing, it is like trying to open a locked door without the key, you can’t do it…so avast! can’t scan a password protected file.
Column widths can be expanded so you can see all the text - Expand Column Width, hover the mouse pointer over the column header divider until the pointer changes (see image) left click and hold down the key whilst dragging the pointer to the right.
