I have to manually start Avast every time I boot, it’s really annoying. I even looked in msconfig at the startup
items and avast isn’t even listed in there. I looked in every avast option and don’t see any to indicate running at boot up.
I am running the default Avast settings too.
Running 7.01426 on Windows 7 Ultimate (x64).
what antivirus did you have before avast ?
have you removed it ?
did you run a removal tool to clear any leftover files that may conflict ?
I just had Microsoft Security Essentials but I disabled that. What can I do to get avast running on boot up?
start with uninstalling it…
