How to Make Avast - Scan From

How to make AVAST scan my drive before XP loads in?.Like I first, installed AVAST.
Is that possible?.Thanks.

Why do you want to do this ?
The reason I ask is that it will take some time.

If you have XP, vista or Win2k (all 32bit), you could enable a boot time scan. Right click the avast icon, select Start avast! Antivirus, a memory scan will take place followed by the opening of the Simple User Interface, Menu, ‘Schedule boot-time scan…’ Or see http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php.

AVAST deleted 2 "suspicious " file and immediately, reboot and start scanning before XP loads in.
Found My Backup file is totally infested with Win32:Viro and I opted to Delete all
just wanted to Rescan to make sure before XP loads in again.
