how to move my license key to another new laptop

I bought a new laptop and i would like to change the license key to this laptop.

Please advise me how to do it.

You don’t say what version of avast that you have, avast 5.0 Pro or avast 5.0 AIS (but the process should be the same) ?

Just uninstall the avast version on the old laptop.

Transfer the license file that you had on the old laptop (you did save it), install avast on the new laptop and register the new avast installation by double clicking the license file.

So I do not need to tell to the administrator Avast? Just simply uninstall the avast in old laptopn and install in the new one? that’s it?

Yes, that is all there is to it. The license file is good for one year regardless of which computer it is used on … as long as it is used on only one computer at a time.
