how to over come a problem from luder-f

     Hi,
       
         This is jaheer Ahamad once i get a junk mail with one attachment of file name like full_text.exe and i download that file and run that exe file. But previously installed

avast antivirals warning as " VIRUS IS FOUND C:\WINDOWS\WIN32:LUDER-F"
and immediately scan the system with avast antivirals it shows some exe file which is
effected by LUDER-F VIROUS and i remove the effected files.

        And it shows system with out virus(LUDER-F) But noe system is slow down and it is frequently Shutdown. i fed up with this problem after 3 days i am ready to format the system of one drive c: to instal new Windows xp prof i put the xp cd and by changing bios setting of advce boot by cd rom.At the time of intallation the system ready to install xp and coppy all the nesasry filr for windos xp after some time the system is shutdown .So please help me in this problem and give me any suggestions.

What is your operating system, is it up to date ?

If avast alerted immediately you tried to run the infected file, it should have blocked any action by the virus. avast intercepts the execution and first scan the file, if infected, it will stop it from running so hopefully you won’t be infected by the virus.

What you have to do is exercise some control and don’t open attachments from unsolicited email, spam or other wise and especially an .exe file.

Based on your previous action (of running a suspect .exe file) I suspect you will also have other malware on your system.

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, preferably in safe mode.

Ewido, a.k.a. avg anti-spyware If using winXP. or a-Squared free if using win98/ME.
