How to prevent Avast to launch scan engine automatically

Hi all,

Recently, my Avast home free edition runs automatically everytime i download something from internet!
I mean, Avast antivirus launches scan engine automatic just after a file download from internet
It is a little bit annoying to me to stop the scan everytime!
So how can i do to stop that processus to run automatically? Should i have to do somewhere on Avast user interface?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Which download manager do you use?
Maybe you (or anybody else) set to scan the downloaded files with ashQuick.exe.
