How to re-activate the license to windows 98 avast 4.8 version?

I still have a WINDOWS 98SE computer and I had the AVAST 4.8 version, I still do, but the license expired today.
Please someone tell me the steps to re-activate it again?

hi !

i have this same issue now on 1 of mi old Tinkering hobby PC’s (Win98Se) with my Avast 4.8(.1356)
today i firedup mi old ibm aptiva and boom i got the Avast “Licence expired” notification.

i tryed Google search etc but so far all Avast 4.8 exe files that i have found (even from Torrent) seem to have Virus on them based to Downloader feedbacks.

Any1 happen to have solution like Virus free .exe file somewhere or setting Bios clock backwards or summink ?

or any old existing topic for same issue in forum that would be good read for me ?

i have about 20 PC’s and this time id like to save some time by asking here than reading web 10hours by doing the search all by my self.

Are they selling 4.8 licenses yet? :o
It will never dye this way…

For Windows 98 the last resource is ClamAv afaik.

No a old firewall of his choice lol. But that would be no very very safe…

Of course AIS would be the best choice but its compatible Windows 98 lol.
