How to Re-Set Password When Link NOt Working??

HI! I have Avast Pro Suite and I want to have my Avast! account. This is NOT about any Password for my software. Rather, this is about my Avast account on the website.
I made an account and forgot my password. I have tried several times to re-set my password. Each time it sends me an email saying (1) password was ready to be re-set and (2) click on the link in the email. But the link is NOT working.

If I click the link my MSIE says the website not accepting HTTPS connections. But even if I click link and connect to website, it is Avast website telling me the link has expired. It says link expired even when I get the email and right away I use the link to get my password back.

Is anyone able to help me with this??

avast! account should not interfere at all with the local program functions.
The fact of Internet Explorer does not accept secure connections (https) is strange. Any other security program that could be interfering? Do you use any internet filter?

I understand my Avast Account will not affect my Avast programs. However, I still do want to set up the account. :slight_smile:

As in many cases with MSIE, this is one that I shall just ignore. Some things are unknowable.

I did submit a ‘trouble ticket’ on the Support page to find out how to get my account password back. Thanks!! Jesse
