How to register an XP machine

I have 3 computers, the others run W7 and are registered, this one is XP.

On this machine I am unable to “Register”, the little icon spins forever and I get a notice “Online content unavailable”.

Monthly message tells me I need to register, but I can’t and then I have to download and reinstall, after deleting the existing install, with AvastClear.exe, then a new install…

How do I register an XP machine?

This is getting tiresome!

What exactly are you trying to register and how?

To my knowledge, avast always allow offline registration.
In the window Registration are two items for this. Insert activation code and Insert licence file. The location depends on the version of the program.

If you experience any issues with on-line registration, use the off-line registration.

Same problem with my two XP machines. 10 days left. When I try to register a message pops up, “the online content is unavailable” " Please check your internet connection and try again". The connection is OK, because all definitions are up to date.
