How to remove last of Avast program?

I need to know please how to remove the Avast program fully please. I used the Uninstall facility because the ‘add/remove programs’ would not work for Avast. However I still have Avast folder in Programs which I can’t delete or even open. Any help please?

First, send us the setup.log file please, as I wrote in the original thread.
Then, you may use the aswClear tool.

I had to reboot on safe mode to appropriate to me the folder Avast4
Then you can open it and send the file to Igor

I had erase it and i’m waiting for a solution to reinstall it

As i mentioned above, the Avast uninstal facility (aswClear) did not do the job. I’m afraid I’ve no idea where to find the log you ask for. So getting back to my problem, what can I do further?

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\Data\Logs
or better
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\Setup\setup.log

If you run C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashLogV.exe you can get info too…
