How to remove right click icon?

Not the menu itself but just the icon.
I know that there is an option to hide the icon in avast 4.8
How can I do this? Since I like things clean I could use help here.

Have you tried the special scans configuration box under settings - see pic. I have never tried to configure it myself, so I can’t say if there is this option.

I’m using the dutch avast home 5.0.677.
I’m not using 4.8.

Do you guys get what I mean? Just the icon in the right click menu.

Did the reply that spg SCOTT gave you answer your question? We are trying to understand exactly what you want to delete when you say “the icon in the right click menu.” If you are not referring to the icon in the BOTTOM of the right side of your screen, and instead you are referring to an icon in located on your monitor screen, then to delete it you only need to right click it, then you will see a drop-down menu and click “Delete.”
