Dear Avast! users: Follow this simple visual tutorial to remove Avast! SafePrice, if you so wish, that sometimes appears after software updates.
Navigate to your operating system’s list of installed software and select your current Avast! installation.
Select the option to “Change” said installation.
Once the setup screen appears, unselect the SafePrice browser extension.
Select the big orange “Change” button.
Enjoy browsing without SafePrice!

I believe this information has been posted in many areas previously and it’s fairly common knowledge.

This is posted in many other topics, not to mention that the latest versions of avast there is no need to go through the long control panel route.
AvastUI > Settings > Components scroll down to the SafePrice browser extension expand the option down arrow icon and select uninstall.

Greetz, Red.
Mods here get seem to respond better to butthurt than to Avast users in need of assistance. Go figure, you’d think we’re on the internet or something.

It’s fairly common knowledge that this does not work. Hence my post.
