Avast Sandbox with blue boarder around, would like to remove.
Have turned off Sandbox in Avast Components, did not help
what avast build version do you have? … right click avast tray icon > about

Avast - Settings - Tools - Sandbox - Customise - Virtualised processes - select the Chrome browser - Delete - OK.
I didn’t even knew, but can confirm , that apparently “forced” sandboxed applications are also sandboxed with the sandbox turned “off”.
On second thought I think this is by design as the GUI clearly mentions " The following processes will always run virtualised: ".
