How to renew Avast Free?

Hi, my subscription still has 28 days left but I want to renew it now as it prompted me that my license is about to expire. I clicked on Renew/ACTIVATE and I click on the select button under the free version. Since I have loyalty reward 35% off with the “continue with upgrade” button but no options to continue with the renewal of my free avast. I close the window but still it has not renew. Is this a bug or I have to wait till the subscription ends then I can renew the subscription? Thank you.

I think it will autorenew when time is out

I think you need to wait until your registration ends within 7 days to renew.

If the auto renewal is going to be the way forward then avast needs to make this clearer in the Subscription/Registration screen in the UI.

I’ve been getting this same popup every time I boot my PC up for the last week now. Rather annoying as I have no intention of upgrading to a paid version in the forseeable future. Hope it does indeed ‘auto-renew’ and disappear as someone already said.
