How to report a suspicious file that is NOT in the virus vault

I know the procedure for submitting a file to Avast that IS in the virus vault
(https://www.avast.com/en-eu/faq.php?article=AVKB21#idt_07).

But I have a suspicious file (email .doc attachment) that Avast scans and reports as safe, so IS NOT in the virus vault. It is suspicious on several counts, not least the facts that it is unsolicited, pressures one to open the attachment, and the attachment contains code.

Guidance, please.

Regards,
Mike
