How to Reset the shields activity history shown in statistics?

Oh ya Asyn is avast 5! free anti virus compatable with comodo firewall?Is there any conflict between the two program?

The log files can be located here:
[win2k+xp]: C:\Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Alwil Software\Avast5\Log
[vista+win7]: C:\ProgramData\Alwil Software\Avast5\Log\

Avast and Comodo run quite smooth together, never had any conflicts. (Don’t install the av part of CIS)

i am using avast! free anti virus with comodo firewall with D+ enabled but windows action center keep telling me i am ranning more then one anti spyware program and it will cause my system to slow down.
So do i need to disable comodo D+?or is it ok to leave it ranning with avast!?

D+ is neighter an AV nor anti spyware, it’s a HIPS - so this is not interfering…
Did you, by mistake, install the AV part of Comodo?

:wink: I downloaded the firewall installation file which only give me a option for the firewall. Maybe windows action center recognise the D+ as an anti spyware instead. ::slight_smile:

IIRC (haven’t used CIS for almost a year) you cannot install D+ only. You can have firewall alone, AV alone, Firewall & D+ or the full suite. But not just the HIPS part.

windows action center recognizes Def+ as an anti-spyware, no big deal, it won’t conflict with actual anti-spy solutions.

ps: adding that obviously this doesn’t prevent this same action center from recognizing CIS firewall as a firewall :wink: Also, you can’t dismiss Def+ to be installed if you want the firewall, but you can disable Def+ completely , ie not just disable it from the slider (requires restart). That won’t get you rid of the def+ UI though, but all rules and policies will be deleted.

At first i though it was conflicting with avast as i ran a game and the whole game hang and crashed with a Bsod.
And actually is due to the D+ pop up that require my ans to allow the game to ran.

ps.the sandbox which come with the D+ is totally useless >:( the sandbox won’t work correctly.
Avast sandbox still the best! :slight_smile:

That’s why I use the 3.14 version of comodo… cis sandboxing does not work well…!
Even avast sandboxing is not at the level I would like to see, but the’re working hard and getting better…
For now, sandboxie does best, imo…
