How to restore software from the chest that Avast removed

So I had to restart Windows to complete some updates today and it seams the updates made Avast firewall stupid. Software that I’ve been using for several years without a problem and had exception set up to allow it but Avast basted it without warning. Ive been screwing around for 2 hours trying to recover the file and submitting a very detailed support ticket which told me to search the forum. Any idea how to recover a file from the chest? Help would be very much appreciated. >:( >:( >:( >:(

The firewall doesn’t delete/move files to the chest.
It even doesn’t scan files.
