How to see report from former scan

I am running the free version of Avast

I scanned my hard drive using Avast and when I got popups saying a virus had been found I told it to ignore them.

I now want to go back and see what the scan report contains.

I can find the report file (called Simple user interface.txt) but I seem to remember there was a special Avast report reader which helped to pick out the important data from that report.

How can I get that working?

Thank you.

Hi, smolls!
You can use help-file (press F1 when you opened avast!):

  1. Click on the Menu button.
  2. Choose the Last scan results.
    There is another way.
  3. From avast! icon (blue a-ball icon) in the tray choose “Program Settings…” (I don’t know how exactly it is named on English).
  4. Choose “Usual”.
  5. Mark a “Show expansion results of the conductor”.
Then every time after scanning you’ll see a window with the scan report.

With the Home (free) version the scan results are only available if you still have the current occurrence of the Simple User Interface running, other wise this information is discarded, where did you find this file as it isn’t present in my installation, unless it is removed on completion.

Other wise when you go back into the SUI, the scan results options will be greyed out.
