Hi, in an old version of Avast, I was able to bring up a kind of real-time log window, showing what files avast is currently scanning. Is there a way to do this in the current version?
Many thanks!

Open the GUI → Real-Time Shields → File-Shield: there you can see the last scanned file. You can look at each shield which file is last scanned.

nope guys, the OP’s question makes sense - and on a side note he’s probably noticed what went on in the UI ;D - … the UI doesn’t tell what’s being scanned in real time, but which file was last scanned while it’s already scanning the next one.
Thanks logos. Yes, in an older version of Avast, there was the option to see a continuous display of all the files it touches as it happens. Sadly this option seems to have disappeared. Thanks anyway.
