how to set emailing report

Hi,
my first time using ANDM,and i read the guide yet ,but i still got no idea about emailing report,
is there any guide with details for this ? one mail server needed? waiting your kindly help,ths!

Hi avbird,

You may configure at :

  1. Open and login to ADNM
  2. Go to Tasks - Server side tasks - (You may create custom report as you need) Then right click and choose properties
  3. After open the new windows, choose Destination and you may set to sent to administrator email

i did as what you said，but it failed，reading the log and getting one message like “

what did it mean？

1.Verify that the Report Server Windows service has Send As permissions on the SMTP server.
2.Start the Reporting Services Configuration tool and connect to the report server instance.
3.On the Email Settings page, enter the name of the SMTP server. This value can be an IP address, a UNC name of a computer on your corporate intranet, or a fully qualified domain name.
4.In Sender Address, enter the name an account that has permission to send e-mail from the SMTP server.
5.Click Apply.

I am not sure what happened with your mail server,

By the way, is there any bouncing mail when you sent to other mail account like to google or yahoo mail account?

According to this forum that his mail server listed as spammer DNS :

and some forum mentioned that their mail server blocked by their firewall at gateway because the port not allowed to sent or receive.

But for sure please check your DNS IP address with : http://www.dnsbl.info/
