How to set my Foxit Reader as default PDF Reader?

Hi! I have Foxit Reader but everytime I open a PDF document it is always Adobe Reader that’s being used. How do I set Foxit Reader as my default PDF Reader? I’m all set to uninstall Adobe Reader 8 after reading this thread(http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=33220.0) in this forum.

Foxit Reader has a place for setting it as default reader, but Adobe Reader won’t let go, so I had no choice but uninstall Adobe Reader in order to have Foxit Reader as default.

In Foxit Reader, Help> check “Set to Default PDF Reader”

Thanks rdmaloyjr & bob3160…Foxit is now my default! I’m still not uninstalling Adobe Reader 8…not really sure what to do.
