How to solve this problem?

Hi

When I want to watch some video on YouTube I get a little window with a message: Open with(Browse…) Save File …ITD

How do i remove this little window?

Have a nice day.

I heard about the Flock Browser, but never used it…
Maybe you find your answer here: http://flock.com/support
asyn

Do you have Adobe Flash installed?

Yes.

Have you tried viewing the video with a different browser?

Can you go to adobe.com on your flock browser to see if the video on their homepage plays?

Do you have any add-ons that maybe causing the “application/ocetet-stream” message to pop-up?

Disabling an add-on may help.

I didn,t find any video on Adobe.com

You should have. The background on the top of the page is a flash video. If it just shows a static image of CS5, then flash isn’t working.

If it shows a little bug that flies around, then says “CS5 is here. Learn more”, then flash is working.

I also see a bird in this animation.

Well, then it appears flash is working. Do you still get prompted to open or save the file when you attempt to watch a video on Youtube?

If so, then I’d go with Asyn’s suggestion and take a look at flock’s support page, as I’ve had no experience with flock either.

There’s probably a file-association list in flock or something where you can tell flock to view a flash video within the browser, instead of it asking what you should do with the file.

-go tor real time shield

  • web shield
  • advanced options
  • exclusions
  • mark url excl
  • type w w w.youtube.com
  • Ok

2:
-Web Shield tab
-Basic tab
-uncheck “Use intelligent steam scanning”

I was afraid to make these settings in Avast because I dont want put my computer in danger.
