How to stop Avast from blocking installs & updates

Been using Avast for a couple of years and I love it. Except for whenever I get an update to one of my 3D modeling apps, Avast will allow the install after inspecting the file. But the application then fails to run. This is getting quite annoying.

I just got an update e-mail from Nevercenter that Silo3D has been updated to ver 2.5. It installed fine but now will not launch. I had a similar issue when I updated to ver 2.3. However after a few days the Silo3D did eventually launch.

Is there a way to stop Avast from attacking Silo3D like this. It has also happened with some of my other 2D & 3D apps.

Hi, yes there is. Go to Settings->General and turn off the CyberCapture function.
