I’m sorry if I worded that weird, but Avast randomly decided to delete Apngasm, I said it was false positive, but couldn’t find out how to get it back so I just went to download it again… and when I went to download it, it blocked me from downloading!
I saw a similar post, with no solution, but I did scan it at UTC whatever that’s worth. Link
I’d like to not have to shut off Avast every time I want to make an APNG, so if anyone can help I’d appreciate it.
Did you scan the actual file at VT? Above link is for the website itself.
DavidR has a way of getting around avast! detecting and quarantining a file you think is a false positive so you can scan it at VT without avast! interfering:
Create a new folder named “Suspect” on the root of your operating system drive.
Tell avast! to not scan this folder when you restore your file copy to this folder.
Upload your file to VT and post the results in your next reply.

he did in a way .... if you scan a URL that goes to a file, VT will download it. See my attached screenshot
if you click that link in his VT scan you will go to file scan ....
to the right of the Analysis date: will be a blue View latest if there is a newer scan
another ting, if you scan a URL at VT and click the additional information tab you fine IP adress and at the bottom, direct link to Sucuri / Quttera
