How to stop sending coordinates of my phone to my mother's phone?

I tested the anti-theft app by sending sms commands using my mother’s phone. Her number is on the friends list of anti-theft.
Well, it worked.

I eventually marked the phone as found using her phone and on my avast account.

Problem though, my phone’s avast anti-theft keeps on sending coordinate sms on her phone and she doesn’t like it very much. Is there a way to unsubscribe to those texts? I tried removing her number on the friends list but to no avail.

Strange. What I would try :

  • Send a sms with your mother’s phone to your phone number with : 2222 LOCATE STOP | Replace 2222 with your pin

  • Go on my.avast.com and check if the GPS icon just under your phone number is highlighted. Even if it’s not, I would try to enable Continuous tracking then disable it again. Your phone has to be connected to internet while you do this on the web portal.
