How to stop USB viruses

Hello

I think some of my USBs are infected with viruses, not fully sure.
How can do a couple of more checks? I already ran scan on removable drives and nothing was found.

Can I manually check? I looked for autorun.inf ,nothing found. I even ticked “Show hidden files”, I unticked “Hide operative system files”
Still no autorun.inf or anything supicious.

What more can I do? Can viruses hide in USBs as a rootkit - like not even visible to “Show hidden files” or Antiviruses?
What more can I do? Please help.

Why do you think so…? What exactly happens on your system…??

I have got a few known viruses that Avast caught but I believe there are some unknown ones that Avast can not discover and I just want to do a full format and when bringing back my files again (from USB) I want to be 100% sure that there is no virus/trojan/rootkit/botnet in my USBs :frowning:

Thanks

You can run free Mbam…
