How to submit virus to avast?

I just want to ask if you have another alternative of submitting viruses for avast to analyze aside from the email option in Virus Chest…

The problem with email option in Virus Chest is it often fails to submit…

Is there any other way like form submition or direct email address in avast like “virus_submit@avast.com”? It is more usable if that solutions is possible…You know, not all users can setup their email in Windows xp…and that’s where the problem lies most of the time…

We have so many viruses here in the Philippines that are not detected by avast! but already detected by most of the AV program around…I want to help in busting them all by volunteering in submitting some samples…

Yes there is. In the form of a password protected zip file. It must be password protected to prevent scanners from stipping off the attachment. Mail it to virus@avast.com . Make sure you include the password in the email.

like oldman said send them via that e-mail address and hopefully they will add them to Avasts definitions
