how to turn off automatic updates with the system still working

hi all

i have the problem that when i am away from home and use it on the laptop to check my emails, the automatic updates always want to check and use up the limited bandwidth that i have available.
when i set them to ask, i get the yellow triangle and the orb never checks anything thats coming in.

is there a way that i can have the updates offf and the triangle off, so that the emails and attachments will still be checked?

Set the updates to manual.
Set the Status page to not report the updates aren’t automatic.
Don’t forget to update :slight_smile:
